The Cleveland Indians have added infielder Brent Lillibridge, who they acquired yesterday from the Boston Red Sox, reports Paul Hoynes of The Plain Dealer:

To make room on their roster for Lillibridge, the Indians designated outfielder Aaron Cunningham for assignment.
The Indians acquired Lillibridge from the Red Sox in exchange for minor league reliever Jose De La Torre. The 28-year-old was dealt to Boston earlier this summer in the trade that sent Kevin Youkilis to the Chicago White Sox.
Lillibridge has played in 59 games this season for the Red Sox and White Sox. Over 79 at-bats, he’s hit at a clip of .165/.212/.177 with one extra-base hit and two RBIs. He owns a career OPS of .630 over five seasons in the majors.
Cunningham appeared in 72 games for the Indians this year, posting a line of .175/.245/.247 over 97 at-bats.
