Diamondbacks Rumors: Justin Upton, Cliff Lee, Felix Hernandez, Stephen Drew

The Arizona Diamondbacks have said that Justin Upton will not be traded today and that there is "no truth" to rumors involving a blockbuster deal for Cliff Lee or Felix Hernandez, reports Bob Nightengale of USA Today:

Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports wrote last night that the D'Backs were working on a deal that would send young outfielder Justin Upton and one of Arizona's bevy of pitching prospects to a team in exchange for an ace starter.

While Cliff Lee and Felix Hernandez's names were speculated, the identity of the pitcher involved was unknown, and a deal for another pitcher could still be in play.

While Upton may be staying put, shortstop Stephen Drew is very likely to be traded today:

The Oakland Athletics and Detroit Tigers have been tied to the 29-year-old, but the Athletics may now be alone in their pursuit since the Tigers acquired middle infield help in Omar Infante last week.
