UPDATE 9:18 PM EST: The White Sox will receive cash considerations from the D'Backs, as reported by Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago.

Original Story: The Chicago White Sox have traded minor league player Tyler Kuhn to the Arizona Diamondbacks, the team announced (via Scott Merkin of MLB.com). It's unclear what the D'Backs gave up in return, if anything. Merkin also adds Kuhn didn't appear to be in the team's plans.

The 25-year-old Kuhn is a career minor league player that will be looking to carve out a role with the D'Backs. On the year, Kuhn entered the day batting .273/.309/.384 in 449 plate appearances.
