The Baltimore Orioles will call up top pitching prospect Dylan Bundy before tonight’s contest against the Seattle Mariners, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports:
The Orioles' game against the Mariners ended shortly before 4 a.m. ET. Bundy learned of his promotion in Florida via a phone call shortly after that, a source said.
Bundy is expected to join the team in time for its series finale against the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday night at 10:10 p.m.
The Orioles won last night’s game against the Mariners, but needed seven relievers to log twelve and two-thirds innings to do so. Bundy is expected to fill a "limited role in relief" for Baltimore, according to Rosenthal.
Baltimore selected Bundy fourth overall in the 2011 MLB Draft. The 19-year-old made his professional debut this season, pitching between three levels of the Orioles farm system. The right-hander ended the season with an ERA of 2.08 over twenty-three starts with 10.3 SO/9 and 2.4 BB/9.

Is it a good move for the Orioles to promote Bundy?
