The Tampa Bay Rays are still on the lookout for a bat and may be in the market for another relief pitcher, reports Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times:
#Rays Friedman said they're still looking to add a bat and maybe a reliever, also could settle some arbitration cases b4 Friday deadline.

Though the Rays have added James Loney, Yunel Escobar, Roberto Hernandez, Wil Myers, Jake Odorizzi, and a few others this winter, they still have a few question marks on the roster heading into 2013.
Ben Zobrist is no longer listed as the starter at quite as many positions as he was a short time ago, but the Rays are still without a legitimate option at designated hitter. Evan Longoria is listed on the club's depth chart as the DH at the moment, with only Sam Fuld as an alternative.
With J.P. Howell joining the Dodgers, and Kyle Farnsworth testing the open market, the Rays are without two of their go-to guys from last season's lights-out bullpen. There is a chance that the Rays are one of the three finalists for Farnsworth, but it is unclear at the moment.
