Even when the Dodgers aren't buying up megastars and throwing around more money than Bruce Wayne at a buy-latex-and-support-orphans charity night, they're still the ones making the most news in the National League West.
The big news here is that Clayton Kershaw will supposedly secure a contract extension before the end of spring training. Make sure to read Eric Stephen's work over at True Blue LA -- he's a fine gentleman and a finer blogger.
The other big news is the same as every other division: the Biogenesis investigation (including A-Rod, Gio Gonzalez, Nelson Cruz, Melky Cabrera, others) is really sending shockwaves throughout MLB. Make sure and check out McCovey Chronicles and Grant Brisbee's what-looks-like-delight take on the situation and how similar it is to the BALCO scandal.
