MLB Winter Meetings 2013: Chris Cotillo is LIVE in Orlando

Stay right here for rolling updates from MLB Insider Chris Cotillo as he covers all the happenings at the 2013 MLB Winter Meetings.

While there has already been a ton (and mostly unexpected) action in the offseason market -- trades, signings, rumors -- the MLB Winter Meetings still provide the #1 yearly opportunity for General Managers, agents, and reporters to all converge and get things done.

Now, we don't have General Managers or agents writing for us (yet), but we do have MLB insider Chris Cotillo live in Orlando, ready for action and reporting all the latest news and rumors.

Make sure to follow him on Twitter HERE and look below for the latest updates (we'll sort them reverse-chron so the newest stuff is on top). Enjoy!

(newest updates on top)

MONDAY 8:06 AM: Good morning from Orlando, where we could see some action today. According to reports, some free agents who seem to be moving closer to signing include Eric O'Flaherty, Juan Uribe, and Omar Infante. Check out a more detailed post about those guys here.

SUNDAY 4:30 PM: Today is arrival day for almost all of baseball, meaning GMs, managers, reporters, and everyone else in the game will be getting here by the end of the night. Lots of milling around and socializing so far today, with the real action starting Monday and continuing through Thursday. One note: Mets GM Sandy Alderson is scheduled to address the media at 6 PM tonight.

SUNDAY 2:03 PM: Greetings from Orlando, where people from all over baseball are starting to trickle in. In a quick trip through the lobby, I spotted Giants GM Brian Sabean, Pirates manager Clint Hurdle, and Hall of Famer Al Kaline. Word is that new Nationals manager Matt Williams is already in the house too. Sunday is always a big day for socializing at the Meetings, so expect some things to get done tonight before the meetings start officially on Monday.
