With camp now open across the league, most teams are done making roster moves until they get a good look at what they've brought in thus far. That being said, this doesn't necessarily mean the transaction wire will fall completely silent over the next month.

The Los Angeles Angels (of Anaheim) have signed former Nats' closer Chad Cordero to a minor-league deal, the veteran has announced on his Twitter feed. The 30-year-old Cordero is attempting a comeback after briefly retiring from baseball in 2011. The right-hander, who owns a solid 2.89 ERA and 8.1 K/9 rate over 330 innings in parts of seven big-league seasons, last pitched in the majors with the Mariners in 2010. He has been battling serious shoulder issues since 2008. The deal does not include an invite to big-league camp, per Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com.
The Baltimore Orioles have signed outfielder Kyle Hudson to a minor-league deal, reports Roch Kubatko of MASN. Hudson, 26, was selected by the Orioles in the fourth round of the 2008 draft, but was released by the club shortly after making big-league debut with them in 2011. The lefty-swinging Hudson bounced around between the Rangers, Rays, and Phillies in 2012, batting .264/.335/.286 in 109 Triple-A games. In five seasons of professional ball, Hudson does not have a single home run.
