The "right" way to write about baseball

Ever read one of our articles and thought, "hey, I want to be a baseball writer"? Too bad, that's my job! Actually, just take a look at this sample article, and you'll be on your way.

I'm always looking to hone my skills as a writer. To do so, I read as much as possibly can. Teacher, parents, and you know, "they" always say you can learn a lot just by reading. So I read, and I learn. And this little piece has probably taught me the most about how best to use descriptive words descriptively...

Now, let's break it down:

Wing = Arm

Minus his tonsils = probably just means the guy had his tonsils taken out (very important to pitching, obviously)

Kinked his arm = Kinked his arm
