Milwaukee Brewers starter Yovani Gallardo, who will be the subject of trade rumors until the July 31st deadline, can block trades to the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Toronto Blue Jays, MLBDailyDish.com's Chris Cotillo has learned.
Was just informed of the ten teams that #Brewers Yovani Gallardo can block trades to. Story coming for @mlbdailydish.

Gallardo, who is 6-7 with a 4.20 ERA on the season, is already receiving "some" trade interest, according to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com. The Brewers are not yet sure if they will trade Gallardo, but would only do so with no restrictions, meaning that the ten teams on his no-trade list are likely eliminated from the race to acquire him.
Most notably, the Orioles, Indians, and Angels will likely be in pursuit of starting pitching as the deadline approaches, and may have to look elsewhere due to their status on Gallardo's no-trade list.
Absent from the list are the Arizona Diamondbacks, who according to FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal, have interest in trading for him. The Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Dodgers, who are also expected to pursue Gallardo, can also acquire him without his approval.
In the coming weeks, the Brewers will be open to moving many players, as noted in yesterday's piece.
