Injuries

  • The Seattle Mariners placed designated hitter Corey Hart on the 15-day DL, retroactive to May 19, with a strained left hamstring. The team recalled Nick Franklin from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move. (Via Mariners Twitter account)
  • The Chicago White Sox placed right-hander Matt Lindstrom on the 15-day DL with a subluxed left ankle tendon and purchased the contract of right-hander Javy Guerra from Triple-A Charlotte, the team announced.

Roster Moves

  • The Cleveland Indians recalled Trevor Bauer and Justin Sellers from Triple-A Columbus and optioned Jesus Aguilar, T.J. House and Jose Ramirez to Triple-A, according to a team announcement. Bauer allowed a pair of runs over six strong innings on Tuesday.
