Roster Moves

  • The Los Angeles Dodgers placed catcher A.J. Ellis on the 15-day DL, retroactive to May 25, with a right ankle sprain. The team recalled Tim Federowicz from Triple-A Albuquerque. (Via the Dodgers Twitter account)
  • The New York Mets placed left fielder Eric Young Jr. on the 15-day DL, retroactive to May 25, with a right hamstring strain. The team also optioned right-hander Vic Black to Triple-A Las Vegas and recalled Matt den Dekker. (Via the Mets Twitter account)
  • The Tampa Bay Rays placed left fielder Brandon Guyer on the 15-day DL with a fractured left thumb and recalled right-hander Alex Colome from Triple-A Durham, the team announced.
