Introducing FanDuel

They even let 18-year olds play!

If you're constantly checking the pages of MLB Daily Dish for the latest trade rumors and transaction news, then you're probably a fantasy baseball player. If that's the case, we're excited to announce an exciting new opportunity that will allow you to play daily fantasy baseball and win some cold, hard cash doing it.

SB Nation has formed an exclusive partnership with FanDuel, "The Leader in One-Day Fantasy Sports", to provide you with the chance to get your hands on some of the $6 million that they pay out in weekly winnings. For just a $2 buy-in fee, you can compete for an $18K prize pool each night, just for setting a lineup of baseball players that (spoiler alert) is just for fun.

Our friends at FanDuel sent along this introduction video, for those of you interested in joining today:

Now that you have the basics, it's time to enter our first FanDuel contest here at MLBDD. Where? Here. (CLICK THE LINK)

And, one more thing: be sure to read the RULES before playing. Apologies to Mariners, Twins and D-Backs' fans, but players in Arizona, Iowa, Minnesota and Washington are not able to play for money. Maybe someday.

The great people of FanDuel and SB Nation have generously given me some startup money to try FanDuel, so it's time for me to go set my lineup. The rules say that you have to be 18 years or older to play, which means that I've made the cut. Barely.
