According to Jon Morosi the Giants are in talks with three free agent outfielders.
Sources: #SFGiants talking with several free-agent outfielders, prefer Heyward, Gordon, or Fowler to Cespedes or Upton due to defense.

The Giants are the latest team to join the mix for Heyward, as just last night Gordon Wittenmyer reported that the Cubs had made him a priority after signing John Lackey. As of now, it's unclear how serious San Francisco's interest in Heyward is, especially considering it might be difficult to fit him into their outfield. Angel Pagan is their current center fielder, and Hunter Pence is slated for duty in right field.
The same could be said of Dexter Fowler, as he's only played one inning other than center since 2008. As a result, Gordon might make the most sense for the Giants, as he's strictly been a left fielder since the start of 2012. He's likely going to be the cheapest option of the players mentioned above, which could make him a more attractive solution for San Francisco.
Before Morosi's report, Pedro Gomez also linked Gordon to the Giants.
Hearing the @SFGiants are hot for Alex Gordon. @Royals won't be able to keep up with the money Gordon is hearing.

A deal isn't imminent at the moment, but San Francisco undoubtedly has money to spend after missing out on Zack Greinke; even though they handed Jeff Samardzija a five year contract for $90 million.
