NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tigers have agreed to acquire left-hander Justin Wilson from the Yankees in exchange for right-handers Luis Cessa and Chad Green, according to a report from Jennifer Hammond of FOX2 in Detroit.

Wilson, 28, was solid for the Yankees last season, posting a 3.10 ERA in 61 innings in a stacked bullpen that included Dellin Betances and Andrew Miller. He is the third significant addition to the Tigers' bullpen this winter, joining new closer Francisco Rodriguez and new setup man Mark Lowe.

Wilson joins southpaws Kyle Ryan and Blaine Hardy in Tigers' bullpen mix, and is likely to see significant time as the team's 7th-inning reliever.

Cessa, 23, was acquired by the Tigers from the Mets in the mid-season trade that sent Yoenis Cespedes to New York. The right-handed pitcher is currently ranked by MLB.com as the 6th-best prospect in the Tigers' system and projects as a back-end starter at the major-league level.

Green, 24, is ranked as the 23rd-best prospect in Detroit's system by MLB.com and posted a 3.93 ERA in 27 starts at Double-A Erie last season.
