NL West update: Archie Bradley, Adam Ottavino, Matt Cain

Updates on a trio of injured pitchers out west and more.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The news is good for Diamondbacks pitcher Archie Bradley after being hit in the face by a Carlos Gonzalez line drive Tuesday, reports Steve Gilbert of MLB.com.

While Bradley has been placed on the disabled list, Gilbert reports that he is not expected to miss any more than the required 15 days. The Diamondbacks have not announced who will replace Bradley in the rotation, but have called up reliever Enrique Burgos to help bolster the bullpen until Bradley's turn comes around.

Bradley posted a 1.80 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in 20 innings before going down with the injury.
