Marlins Promote Jose Urena
Urena is one of the Marlins' top pitching prospects and was promoted to aid a rotation already without Mat Latos, Henderson Alvarez, and Jarred Cosart. Urena struggled in his first start against the Pirates, though, and Miami will have to decide if he will remain in the rotation moving forward.
Rays' James Loney out with broken finger
Loney will be out for 4 to 6 weeks and Tampa Bay will turn to its infield depth in his absence. Logan Forsythe is an option and Rene Rivera is the current backup.
