For a couple of weeks now, there have been consistent rumors that the Marlins are eventually going to trade starting pitchers Dan Haren and Mat Latos, but it's one of their relievers who's attracting the most attention.
Hearing at least four teams in on #Marlins Cishek. some making stronger push than #STLCards

Cishek struggled to begin the year, and was even sent down to AAA for a few tuneups. However since being recalled, he's largely been the pitcher that has been so effective for Miami over the last four seasons. In 11.2 innings, Cishek has posted a K/9 of 8.49, an ERA of 0.77, and an FIP of 2.21. While that's a fairly small sample size, he's been great since 2011, and his recent run of success can be trusted.
In addition to Cishek, the Marlins are also receiving interest in Haren and Latos, and possibly from the same team. Jim Bowden reported earlier that Kansas City could ultimately be a landing spot.
Royals continued pursuit of starting pitching includes: Cueto, Leake, Samardj, Haren, Latos does not include: Hamels, Shields or Gallardo.

The Royals are also "all in" on Cincinnati's ace, Johnny Cueto, and would likely turn to pitchers like Haren and Latos should they strike out on bringing in an ace-level starter. Thankfully, we should start to see something materialize quickly as the Scott Kazmir trade has kicked off the market.
