Orioles trade rumors: Baltimore interested in Ben Revere, Gerardo Parra

The club is also discussing a deal that would send Tommy Hunter to Chicago.

Baltimore is expected to be active throughout the day and might be close to making several deals. The Orioles are interested in Gerardo Parra and Ben Revere, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, and are also working on a deal that would send reliever Tommy Hunter to the Cubs.

While the club is seeking outfield depth, adding both Parra and Revere would add speed and a pair of productive bats to the top of the Orioles' lineup. A deal for Parra was thought to be done last night, however he remained in the game and no deal was made. Parra, 28, has posted a/.328/.369/.517 batting line to complement nine home runs and 100 RBIs for the Brewers. Zach Davies was also mentioned in the potential deal.

Revere, 27, has posted a .298/.334/.374 line to complement one home run and 26 RBIs.

While the Orioles have been seeking offense, the Cubs are looking to add a reliever. Hunter, 29, has posted a 3.63 ERA and 3.32 FIP over 44.2 innings in 2015.
