All off-season the Mets have expressed interest in re-signing Yoenis Cespedes and the club did so on Friday night:
Cespedes was mulling over offers from the Washington Nationals and the New York Mets, where he expressed a desire to stay. The Nationals were offering Cespedes a deal in the five year range, and around $100 million. Cespedes appears to have left money on the table in order to return to the Mets.
Baltimore, Houston and Colorado have all considered adding Yovani Gallardo to their respective rotations this winter.
Daniel Norris beat cancer. Now, he is ready to have success in 2016.
Seattle signed infielder Gaby Sanchez to a minor league deal:

J.D. Martinez is reportedly discussing an extension with the Tigers:
The Detroit Tigers and outfielder J.D. Martinez continue to talk about a long-term deal.
Both sides say they still want to get something done.
Carlos Peguero gets a minor league deal with an invitation to Spring Training from the Cardinals:

The Orioles are not willing to lose a draft pick to sign a free agent who received a qualifying offer:

There is a chance the Indians add a position player before the start of Spring Training:
