The White Sox seem to be interested in keeping Robin Ventura as their manager next season:
The White Sox have expressed a desire to retain Robin Ventura as their manager for the 2017 season. The caveat to the story was that they want to retain him, if he wants to return. It’s a rather odd nugget to throw into a story.
Albert Pujols is done for the season:
Albert Pujols underwent shockwave therapy on the arch of his right foot for his plantar fasciitis. He is shut down for the season.

Colorado opted to shut down Gerardo Parra:

A.J. Schugel saw Dr. David Altchek for second opinion. Confirmed rotator cuff inflammation, rest and rehab, no surgery.
