The Cubs survive to see Game 6. Kris Bryant smashed a solo home run in the 4th to kick start the Cubbie offense. This jolt started a domino effect of a five hit, three run inning off of Trevor Bauer. The Cubs took Game 5 3-2, but are going to need to same bats to show up if they want to make it to Game 7.

The Brewers have signed LHP Chad Nading. Nading is coming over from the Independent League and was previously drafted in 2009, going in the 39th round to Texas. Coming out of the bullpen he put up a 1.83 ERA in 39.1 innings. He didn’t allowed a single home run in 2016.
