NL Central: Cubs live to see Game 6

Check out what’s going on in the National League Central.

The Cubs survive to see Game 6. Kris Bryant smashed a solo home run in the 4th to kick start the Cubbie offense. This jolt started a domino effect of a five hit, three run inning off of Trevor Bauer. The Cubs took Game 5 3-2, but are going to need to same bats to show up if they want to make it to Game 7.

Here’s more from the National League Central.

Four spots have opened up on the Reds 40-man.

The Brewers have signed LHP Chad Nading. Nading is coming over from the Independent League and was previously drafted in 2009, going in the 39th round to Texas. Coming out of the bullpen he put up a 1.83 ERA in 39.1 innings. He didn’t allowed a single home run in 2016.

Moving towards the offseason, the Cardinals have one main bargaining chip to make things happen. That chip is Luke Weaver.

The Cubs are now down 3-2 in the World Series, but that means next to nothing until the last out of Game 6. There are plenty of World Series winning team who’ve come back from a 3-1 hole. This is how.

Joey Cora will be serving as the Pirates third base coach next season. A few weeks ago, the Buccos fired Rick Sofield to the tune of Pirates fans everywhere.
