Good morning baseball fans!

The Braves signed Bartolo Colon to a one-year deal:

Colon will join a Braves rotation that pitched to a 4.87 ERA last season, which ranked 14th in the National League. He is the second veteran addition to the group in as many days, joining R.A. Dickey, who signed a 1-year, $8 million deal Thursday.

Seattle is seeking pitching depth and is interested in Boone Logan and Brett Cecil.

Cuban infielder Lourdes Gurriel landed a seven-year, $22 million deal to join the Blue Jays.

Mark Melancon visited San Francisco on Friday, but the Giants might still consider Aroldis Chapman and Kenley Jansen.

Phillies infielder Cesar Hernandez drew a notable amount of interest at the GM meetings earlier this week.

Philadelphia acquired Howie Kendrick on Friday afternoon:

According to recent reports, Kendrick preferred a trade out of Los Angeles as he desired a full-time job. He drew some trade interest from the Phillies and his former team, the Angels, during this week’s GM meetings in Scottsdale before the sides finalized the swap today.

Both the Orioles and Blue Jays are interested in Josh Reddick.

The Yankees are willing to pay half of Brian McCann’s remaining salary in a potential trade this winter.

The Angels signed Jesse Chavez to a one-year deal.

The Brewers extended Manager Craig Counsell through 2020, the club announced.

Kendrys Morales is headed to Toronto on a three-year deal:

Morales will likely take over the designated hitter role for the Jays, who may lose both Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Bautista on the free-agent market. While the addition of Morales does not completely rule out a reunion between the Jays and Encarnacion, it does make it much more likely for the club to re-sign both Encarnacion and Bautista.

Colin Rea underwent Tommy John surgery:

Los Angeles parted with an outfielder:

Jason Castro has several offers to consider:
