Good morning, baseball fans! We hope you had a lovely weekend and are well rested for a week of chaos and qualifying offer decisions.

Here’s what’s going on around the National League Central.

The Angels have signed Jesse Chavez to a 1-year deal.

“The Angels have agreed to a 1-year, $5.75 million contract with right-hander Jesse Chavez, as first reported by Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com. The deal includes $3 million in incentives.

Chavez will be given the chance to start in Anaheim, according to Crasnick. He has bounced back and forth between starting and relieving throughout his major-league career, but appeared exclusively out of the bullpen in 62 appearances for the Blue Jays and Dodgers in 2016.”

Danny Valencia has been shipped off to the Mariners.

“The Athletics have traded Danny Valencia to the Mariners for minor-league pitcher Paul Blackburn, as first reported by Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports. The deal is official.

Valencia, who got into a late-season clubhouse brawl with teammate Billy Butler, was not expected back in Oakland next year. The club reportedly considered releasing him in September, but ultimately decided to hold onto him and try to receive some value back in trade talks over the winter.”

If anyone ever tells you not to follow your dreams because they’re too ridiculous, show them this video of Tim Tebow hitting a walk-off RBI single. So never stop believing in yourself, even if literally everyone in Major League Baseball has spent a better part of three months rolling their eyes at you.

The Blue Jays have signed Kendrys Morales.

“The Blue Jays have agreed to a 3-year, $33 million deal with designated hitter/first baseman Kendrys Morales, according to multiple reports. The deal was first reported by Christopher Meola.

Morales is the second significant addition of the day for the Blue Jays, who also signed Cuban infielder Lourdes Gurriel to a 7-year, $22 million deal Friday. Toronto has been the most active American League team in free-agent news thus far, adding Morales and Gurriel while losing right-hander R.A. Dickey to the Braves.”

Still a little blown away about Bartolo “Big Sexy” Colon leaving the Big Apple for Atlanta? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Here's why the Braves signed R.A. Dickey and Bartolo Colon

Ok these moves were SNEAKY good for the Braves.
