For the Dodgers, the veteran catcher batted .278 in 14 games played after being dealt to Los Angeles via the Phillies in late August. In exchange for the Ruiz, Philadelphia was sent cash considerations, A.J. Ellis, Tommy Bergjans, and Joey Curletta.
