Making the game better for all

The talk of shortening the season to 154 games won;t fly with the owners. The solution to the problem is to shorten Spring Training by one week. Yes you lose some spring revenue but you don't lose MLB revenue in the big stadiums. With that extra week you try and start most seasons in warm weather or dome stadiums. There will be 7 extra days you have wiggle room to give players more days off especially after long road trips and long plane rides. There is a unfair advantage to teams that are rested and teams getting in at 3 or 4 AM in the morning for that days games.
The schedule makers need to sit down and fugure that stuff out so players have the proper rest. From that will improve the game..

Starting early also can make up for rainouts and having all these day night DH at the end of a season. Again more revenue for teams when they don;t have to have day night DH. ,, Having that extra week can make a huge difference to the quality of the game.

The people are ready for baseball right now. Let's get it on !

Play Ball as soon as possible and screw that last week of Spring Training . The players for the most part should be in shape with the salaries they make.
