The Orioles have brought in some starting pitching help in the form of Odrisamer Despaigne from the Padres, according to Roch Kubatko of MASN and Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports. In exchange for Despaigne, the Padres will receive minor league pitcher JC Cosme.

Just this past Monday, rumors circulated that the Orioles were interested in Padres' starter Andrew Cashner. Instead they ended up getting Despaigne.
For the Padres, JC Cosme is young prospect. He was drafted by the Orioles in the 17th round of the 2014 MLB Draft and last year, at 19, pitched in the New York-Penn League of Class-A. In 12 starts, he went 3-5 with a 4.74 ERA in 57 innings.
