AL Central Notes: Royals locker room, Indians storylines, Tigers pen'

A big theme in baseball is locker room morale and team chemistry. It's no surprise that the defending World Series champions have that going on. Inside the Kansas City Royals locker room, the newcomers to the team have marveled at the excellent team chemistry, writes Pete Grathoff of the Kansas City Star.

A bunch of the new guys have mentioned that everyone is rooting for each other to succeed, and care for one another. And when one guy doesn't do his job, it gets the whole team bummed. That morale and chemistry is important to the team, as they believe it's key to their success.
