MLB Opening Day 2016: How to watch every game, TV schedule, streaming information, and more

New, 4 comments

Your guide to watching as much baseball as possible on Opening Day.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Opening Day awaits. With three games tapped for Sunday and 12 more scheduled for Monday, the last thing you want to be doing is flipping through channels trying to find your game. And, if your game means all the games, we've got you covered.

If you also want a look at the projected lineup for not only your team, but the opposing team, we've got you covered there. Or the opposing pitching staff for the upcoming series? That too. For good measure, we've hooked you up with the one story line for every team heading into the season too. In short, we got you fam.

Opening Night will actually begin during the day. With three must-see games on tap, the MLB wants to monopolize your entire Sunday this time around; not just the evening. Six teams will take the field in offsetting games so you can hopefully watch every pitch.

22 of the remaining teams are all scheduled for the following day: the official Opening Day of the 2016 season. Between Sunday and Monday, that means only a pair of teams will be waiting to play their first game: the Detroit Tigers and Miami Marlins. With games varying from very early afternoon to very late evening, make sure you file away your 'dibs' on the television early. I mean, what else is on on Mondays? Supergirl? PVR IT!
