Good morning baseball fans!

Chicago is still seeking outfield depth and is considering Carlos Gonzalez and Jay Bruce:

The White Sox are specifically seeking a left-handed power bat, which both Gonzalez and Bruce posses. However, Levine notes it does not appear the club has been in trade discussions with regard to either player.

There is a chance Cameron Maybin is out for up to six weeks, but the Tigers are not considering any external options:

When the Tigers acquired Maybin earlier in the off-season, the club expected him to be its starting center fielder. Maybin was plagued by injuries in both 2013 and 2014 but was able to remain healthy last season.

Over 141 games with the Braves, Maybin batted .267/.327/.370 to complement 10 home runs and 59 RBIs. He also stole 23 bases.

Multiple Cubs turned down deals worth more to play for Chicago:

Franklin Morales will receive $2.3 million in his deal with the Brewers:

A minor groin injury will delay the spring debut of Devin Mesoraco, according to MLB.com's Mark Sheldon.

Tampa Bay is set to sign Dan Johnson to a minor league deal:

Braves reliever Andrew McKirahan will be out for the season after suffering a torn elbow ligament, according to Michael Cunningham of The Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Billy Hamilton is out with a stiff shoulder:
