Belt's new deal will re-work his salary for this season, meaning he will be under San Francisco's control through the 2021 season. The soon-to-be 28-year old was slated to become a free agent after next year, meaning the new deal covers two arbitration years and four free-agent years.
Dr. Sheridan says Pollock won't be begin baseball activities for at least three months, best-case. Could miss the entire year, he said.
