NL East Notes: Bonds on Harper, Nola's development, deGrom's health

Miami Marlins hitting coach Barry Bonds sees the greatness that is Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper, but he doesn't consider him on the same level. Bonds was very open about his feelings on the matter, saying "He's got a long way to go to get comparison to me. He ain't even close to me. But he's one hell of a ball player."

• Jacob deGrom just welcomed a new baby into the world, but he may find himself with more time with his newborn son. The Mets right-hander might need to hit the disabled list with a right lat injury, and the Mets are preparing for the worst. They have recalled Rafael Montero from Triple-A, and have him on standby if a roster move is necessary.
• Marlins reliever Mike Dunn hit a setback in his rehab from a strained left forearm. A throwing session on Sunday didn't go well, and Dunn is expected to see the Marlins team doctor for further evaluation.
• Aaron Nola put together a strong showing in the Phillies home opener, giving the Phillies and their fans some hope. Nola is viewed as one of the centerpieces as the Phillies continue to rebuild their roster.
• Braves minor league pitcher Alger Hodgson was suspended for 72 games after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol. This was going to be Hodgson's first professional season.
