Good morning baseball fans!
Even though Opening Day is almost here, the Rangers and Indians are discussing a trade.
By the depth chart on their site, the Rangers seem set on Cole Hamels, Martin Perez,Colby Lewis, and Derek Holland as starters. With both Tanner Scheppers and Yu Darvish out to start the season, that leaves A.J. Griffin as the most likely candidate for the fifth starting job. However, it appears that on the eve of Opening Day, the Rangers are trying to address that.
Here are projected Opening Day lineups for every major league team.
Luis Severino and Travis Shaw are among the prospects to watch in the American League East.
Hyun Soo Kim did not accept a minor league assignment from the Orioles.
Jeremy Guthrie heads to the Padres on a minor league deal.
