Catcher Gary Sanchez is going to get another opportunity at the the big league level with the Yankees, as the team has promoted him from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The Yankees will be hosting the White Sox, and they are slated to pitch lefties on Friday and Sunday, giving the Yankees a need on the right side of the plate.
With Alex Rodriguez still on the shelf, it appears as though Sanchez will find himself in the DH role for this series. Entering play last night, Sanchez was hitting .280 with five home runs and 30 RBI's in 26 games.
