Over the past week, there have been a lot of new injuries and plenty of updates on existing injuries. Here's a guide to all the injury news around the league, sorted by team:
The Arizona Diamondbacks have had David Peralta shelved with a wrist injury since May 8. Most recently, it was discovered that there was no structural damage to Peralta's wrist, and he is making progress. Meanwhile, Josh Collmenter made a rehab appearance on Thursday, going four innings and allowing four earned runs.
The Baltimore Orioles' Jimmy Paredes is undergoing a rehab assignment. Since joining Triple-A Norfolk, he has walked once and racked up seven hits -- four for extra bases including a homer -- in 19 plate appearances. Yovani Gallardo is also making progress as he is slated to play catch on Saturday.
It appears Joe Kelly of the Boston Red Sox is very close to coming off of the disabled list after completing a successful rehab assignment with Triple-A Pawtucket.

The Kansas City Royals placed Kris Medlen and Chris Young on the disabled list on Thursday.
Andrelton Simmons could return to the Los Angeles Angels in six weeks, or so goes the best-case scenario. He underwent thumb surgery after tearing the ligament.
Hyun-Jin Ryu is scheduled to start a rehab assignment next weekend. The Los Angeles Dodgers have been without Ryu since September of 2014.
The Milwaukee Brewers' Will Smith is scheduled to throw off of a mound on Friday. This will be his first time doing so since landing on the disabled list with a knee injury during spring training.
Wilmer Flores of the New York Mets was placed on the disabled list on Thursday. He has been held out of the lineup since Tuesday with a hamstring issue.
After being removed from Thursday's game, Derek Norris' thumb x-rays came back negative. The San Diego Padres' catcher is day-to-day with a bruised hand.
Angel Pagan has been held out of the lineup since May 1 with a hamstring issue. He is expected to return Friday.
The Seattle Mariners' have scheduled Charlie Furbush to face live batters next week. He has missed the entire 2016 season but threw a successful bullpen session on Wednesday.
Jhonny Peralta has been cleared to start swinging a bat. The St. Louis Cardinals' shortstop has missed all of 2016 so far after undergoing thumb surgery before the season.
Brad Boxberger is putting in some work at extended spring training for the Tampa Bay Rays. He last appeared at Triple-A on April 26.
Yu Darvish continued his rehab assignment for Triple-A Round Rock. On Thursday he faced 15 batters, giving up one earned run on one hit and two walks and striking out four.
