We finally know that Jose Reyes will be suspended through the rest on May, and then be able to return to baseball. This decision was a long-time in the making, but it leaves the Colorado Rockies in a tough spot.
They have a couple of options, but one isn't putting Reyes on the field. With Trevor Story at shortstop, the Rockies can either just release Reyes, or try to move in him a trade. While trading him may be difficult, there are apparently teams that are interested in his services. Whatever they decided, it will be a tough process for the Colorado front office.
