AL Central Notes: Tim Anderson, draft notes

The White Sox are remaining active, doing what they can to upgrade their roster and help them win games. Before their game last night, the White Sox were sporting a 30-30 record. A look further shows how spot on that record actually is. They were 14-14 at home, 16-16 on the road and had a run differential of 0, scoring 241 runs and giving up 241 runs. Talk about consistency.

Potentially to help with that, the team called up their top prospect, shortstop Tim Anderson, who was a first round pick in 2013. Anderson, 22, was hitting .304 with four home runs and 20 RBI’s in 55 games at Triple-A Charlotte. Jimmy Rollins was designated for assignment in order to make room for Anderson on the roster.
