AL West Notes: Lincecum ready, Desmond might stay

Through three starts at Triple-A, Tim Lincecum has dazzled with a 2.65 ERA, .77 WHIP and 19 strikeouts over 17 innings. His last start was his best, where he carried a no-hitter through five innings and finished by allowing only one hit over seven scoreless innings.

After this blazing start, the Angels are ready to get Lincecum up to the big leagues, and he is going to join the rotation this weekend, with Saturday being his debut in an Angels uniform.
