Good morning baseball fans!

Chicago is seeking relief help but is not willing to part with any of its core players to add bullpen depth:

Led by closer Hector Rondon, Chicago’s bullpen has helped the club be the first team to reach 45 wins this season. Pedro Strop has been effective in a setup role, pitching to a 2.92 ERA, but the unit could become well-balanced if another arm is added.

Although Kyle Schwarber has been mentioned in trade rumors, the Cubs don’t appear interested in moving him.

If the White Sox continue to struggle, Robin Ventura might be out of a job in the coming weeks.
