The Astros youth movement may be continuing, with infield prospect Alex Bregman being called up as soon as this weekend. The former LSU product has hit .297 with a .415 OBP, 14 home runs and 46 RBI’s in 62 games for the Double-A Hooks.
Bregman made waves after finishing a home run short of the cycle during the Futures Game this past weekend in San Diego. Houston has already called up to other prospects, AJ Reed and Tyler White and Bregman is further along offensively than both of those players.
