Over the last couple of weeks, the future of Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez has been up in the air. The recent development of him not getting many at-bats going forward have some question the usefulness of A-Rod’s roster spot.
With the growing speculation that the Yankees might finally be ready to cut him, questions are arising about where A-Rod could go from here. While this may surprise some, there are some teams that might be in the market for A-Rod.
More from around the American League East:
- Toronto’s decision to move starter Aaron Sanchez to the bullpen has caused quite the controversy. MLB pitching legend John Smoltz doesn’t agree with their choice.
- It’s not something to be proud of, but the Baltimore Orioles are on pace to be the slowest team in major league history.
- Boston’s pitching might finally be starting to take a turn for the better. The credit? That belongs to Brian Bannister, maybe.
- Tampa made one of the bigger moves, trading Matt Moore in a deal that saw they get back Matt Duffy. The former Giants third basemen is going back to his roots as a shortstop, and that didn’t make their current shortstop, Brad Miller, very happy.
