- Andre Ethier won’t be active until the beginning of April, according to Andy McCullough of The Los Angeles Times.
- Koda Glover seems to be the favorite to open the season as Washington’s closer, according to FanRag Sports’ Jon Heyman.
- Marlins starter Jeff Locke will seemingly miss all of April while recovering from tendinitis, according to Tim Healey of The Sun Sentinel.
- Francisco Lindor is not currently discussing a contract extension with the Indians, according to Joel Sherman of The New York Post.
