The 2018 MLB Winter Meetings are officially under way in Las Vegas, Nevada. Stars Manny Machado and Bryce Harper have yet to sign, and Zack Greinke still plays for the Arizona Diamondbacks. However, the start to this offseason certainly hasn’t bored anyone. The Diamondbacks have already traded Paul Goldschmidt; meanwhile, Seattle Mariners GM Jerry Dipoto has traded away 10 players (and counting) this offseason.

The Winter Meetings are unpredictable and are always full of surprises. Utilize this tracker to stay up to date on all the latest news and rumors from the 2018 MLB Winter Meetings.

With the top two free agent starters off the board (Patrick Corbin to the Nationals and Nathan Eovaldi back to the Red Sox), the next domino to fall could be veteran starter J.A. Happ. Or, instead of the 36-year old Happ, young pitcher Dallas Keuchel could also find a new team soon.

9:00 PM EST
Free agent reliever Daniel Robertson has received interest from at least six teams, including the Red Sox, Dodgers, and Mets, sources tell MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand.

9:00 PM EST
The Toronto Blue Jays have shown interest in Mike Fiers and Kendall Graveman, along with other free agent pitchers, per MLB.com’s Jon Morosi.

8:45 PM EST
The Yankees and Padres are in the news again, per MLB.com’s Jon Morosi. First, the Padres have had discussions with the Miami Marlins regarding a deal involving catcher J.T. Realmuto; the Yankees have had talks, too, but they don’t appear to be a good suitor. Second, the Yankees and Padres are slightly closer to a deal that would send Sonny Gray to San Diego. The trade is still several steps away, but the two sides continue to have negotiations.

8:30 PM EST
Former major-leaguers Lee Smith and Harold Baines have been elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame. A press conference has been scheduled for 6:00 PM EST (or 3:00 PM PST) tomorrow, December 10 to formally announce the news. Smith is expected to don a Cubs hat on his plaque, with Baines wearing a White Sox cap; twice the fun for Chicago.

7:00 PM EST
After reporting the Yankees will meet with Manny Machado, FanCred’s Jon Heyman also notes the Yankees will meet with Bryce Harper.

6:45 PM EST
According to FanCred’s Jon Heyman, the New York Yankees will definitely meet with star free agent Manny Machado, but do not plan on offering a contract worth more than $300M. Heyman mentions the Phillies and White Sox could be under-the-radar candidates for Machado, too.

6:00 PM EST
The chatter inside the press room at the Winter Meetings continues to produce the names of Bryce Harper and Manny Machado, the two biggest free agents this offseason. There’s speculation that Harper and his agent, Scott Boras, will be extra busy negotiating during the Winter Meetings, which are being held in Harper’s hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. There is belief that Harper will get signed first, with Machado not long after.

5:00 PM EST
With the J.T. Realmuto trade talks heating up, the New York Mets have checked in on the catcher’s pricetag, but won’t send Amed Rosario or a package of Brandon Nimmo and Michael Conforto to the Marlins, reports FanCred’s Jon Heyman, who has already had a busy Winter Meetings.

4:30 PM EST
The official time for the Red Sox’s press conference to introduce Nathan Eovaldi has been set. The club will introduce the righty on Monday at 11:30 AM “Vegas time” (PST).

12:00 PM EST
The sweepstakes for star catcher J.T. Realmuto are heating up. Andre Fernanez of The Athletic Miami reports that the Marlins’ biggest focus at the Winter Meetings is to progress in trade discussions regarding the star catcher. Fernandez adds that the Marlins won’t rule out trading Realmuto inside the NL East, which would entail Miami playing against Realmuto 19 times every season, due to scheduling.

10:30 AM EST
Yeserday, Minor League Baseball was among those to announce that the Las Vegas Triple-A team has gotten a new name. After switching organizations (from the New York Mets to the Oakland Athletics), they changed their name from the Las Vegas 51s to the “Las Vegas Aviators”. Although this doesn’t impact the Winter Meetings, it certainly isn’t a coincidence that the name change was announced the day before the Winter Meetings, which are in Las Vegas this year.

9:00 AM EST
Happy Winter Meetings! The 2018 MLB Winter Meetings are underway from Las Vegas, Nevada.
