Daily Poll: Which division is the strongest in 2018?

There are a lot of division races that look like they are going to be tight the rest of the way. Which division stands out as the best?

We have a lot of games under our belts right now and while it is still technically “early” in the season and a lot can happen, we do have a reasonably good sense of the overall health of each of the divisions even if we don’t know who will likely end up on top in a lot of cases.

The NL East looks to be a three team race for a while with the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, and Washington Nationals. Right now, it is anyone’s guess who will end up on top and the Mets are going to be a decent team as well, although right now their role looks more as a spoiler than a legitimate contender for the division crown.

The AL East has arguably the two best teams in baseball in the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees although the drop-off after that is pretty significant. The AL West is surprisingly competitive with the Houston Astros being expectedly excellent and the Mariners keeping pace against all odds right with them. One cannot sleep on the Angels with Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, and Andrelton Simmons on the same roster. We also have the NL Central which has the Brewers off to a hot start and perennial contenders in the Cubs, Cardinals, and Pirates lurking all around the same record.

So for today’s poll, which division is currently the best in baseball? If your choice isn’t listed, let us know in the comments how wrong we are and make your case.
