- With Roberto Perez on the mend, the Indians have called up stud prospect Francisco Mejia to the major leagues. It may be a a short stint, but it will be fascinating to see what happens if Mejia plays well.

- Shohei Ohtani has been placed on the disabled list with a UCL sprainand while it doesn’t look like he’ll need Tommy John, the club is expected to make a full decision in the upcoming weeks.
- At what feels like not even breaking news at this point, the Mets have placed Jeurys Familia on the disabled list with shoulder soreness, because of course they did.
- Finally, some good, healthy news: the Nationals have activated Adam Eaton from the disabled list.
