• The Giants were not good last season and the same was true this season. Now, GM Bobby Evans is looking for a new job as the Giants parted ways with him.
• The Oakland Athletics punched their ticket to the postseason as they locked up a postseason berth last night with a 7-3 win over the Mariners.
