The Astros have acquired right-handed reliever Joe Biagini from the Blue Jays, per the Toronto Sun’s Rob Longley. The return has not yet been disclosed:

The 29-year-old former Rule 5 pick, who had a spectacular rookie season in 2016 after being selected out of the Giants’ system, had endured a couple of rough seasons in 2017-18, but he’s bounced back this year and fits the flexible, multi-inning profile that the Astros have so often desired in their relievers under Jeff Luhnow. In 49 games, Biagini has posted a 3.86 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP, 49 strikeouts, and 17 walks over 49 innings. He started 22 games over the last two seasons, so he could also provide rotation depth if the Astros need it down the stretch.
